Run for Fatboys, Run!
Congratulations and huge thanks to Martin McDonnell from Widnes in Cheshire who successfully completed the London Marathon and raised a large sum of money for Fatboy's. We are always genuinely appreciative when people who are unknown to us raise funds on our behalf. Martin enjoyed the marathon and the tough challenge it presents despite the heat. He is in two minds as to whether he would do it again, but we have sent him some Fatboy's running shirts, a rugby shirt and mug as a gesture of thanks.

The Sarsen Trail Sponsored Walk
Many thanks to Deb and Bertie Bassett who have just completed the Sarsen Trail walk which totals 26 miles in all. More comfortable than running 26 miles I suppose, but still quite an arduous task, and certainly not one I would wish to undertake any time soon. Their efforts helped to raise over £600 for Fatboy's.

Helping Dreams Come True
Fatboy's recently donated a sum of money to the parents of a young girl in the Midlands who is suffering from Metastatic Primitive Neuroectodermal Tumour . (PNET) . The young girl is only 5yrs old and wanted her bedroom decorated like 'Disney Princess'. We have arranged for this to happen, and in addition, arranged for her and her family to go to the Birmingham Hippodrome to see a show of her choice.
