Naomi House Presentation
Fatboys Helps Naomi House
Fatboys purchased four Playstations and numerous games for the Children's Hospice, Naomi House.
Situated just north of Winchester in Hampshire, Naomi House offers one-to-one respite, palliative, terminal and bereavement care and support to children and their families in central southern England.
With less than 1% of their income coming from government, Naomi House relies almost entirely on the generosity of people in the community.
Fatboys was glad to purchase these items, requested by staff, and hope that they will bring some small pleasure to the chldren there

East Retford RFC....Mad.Bad & Dangerous to know!!
The generosity shown by virtual strangers never ceases to amaze us at Fatboys.
A few of the Lawless RFC players were on a rugby tour with Wiltshire Police RFC to Ireland at Easter and got pally with the fellow touring boys from East Retford, who quite frankly, drank like fish, and put the Police team to shame (although they had a good go!) A Cider Enema was one of the strange customs which East Retford were only too happy to demonstrate. A Lawless RFC shirt was presented to East Retford at the end of the tour.
Lo and behold, a few weeks after returning from the Emerald Isle, a cheque arrived with Fatboys for £500. This had been raised by East Retford at a charity function in aid of Fatboys. We were completely unaware that they were doing this, and we were sincerely touched by their thoughts and generosity.
Looking forward to the trip to play East Retford this year!! Top Boys!! ....but don't worry too much about the cider enema!!

Local Athlete and hairmonger, Andy Bridge (pictured) raised £500 running the Swindon Half Marathon in just under two days, sorry...... two hours. Many thanks to Andy for his efforts, who after the run said.......'I've learnt a lesson, if I get rid of all this chest hair, I could shave hours off my time......'............Cheers Andy
